i am often found covered in flour, whisking with one hand while the other is hurriedly writing down recipe notes before the impulse is forgotten. there is something most beautifully simple, satisfying, and nostalgic about the art of confections. a combination of fond memories, novel ideas, and sweet, sweet, comfort.
the name “sugars” comes from my nickname for my dachshund, best friend and number one supporter who lovingly observes my every move, rudy tooty.
